Deccan Tiffin is proud to present the Curry for Change Charity Summer Feast at Polygon Popup. Curry for Change is a charity initiative run by Find Your Feet, an organisation which works with some of the poorest families in Asia and Africa to prevent hunger.

You will enjoy, in the words of one happy guest, a ‘performance of tastes, textures and colours, playing off each other, and making even the best Indian restaurants seem predictable’.

The menu is expertly prepared with the freshest ingredients and through the evening you’ll be taken on a tour of the history and background of each dish.

The bar will be run by the inimitable Richard Humpries who has a selection of wines and beers specially paired with the menu.

The meal will be an exciting experience for meat eaters and vegans or vegetarians alike.

Start your meal with Burra Kabab – marinated lamb chops tenderised with green papaya and cooked over coal on the spot. For vegetarians and vegans there is Aloo tikki chaat of potato cutlets with chickpea curry in true Delhi street food style. This is followed by a delicately spiced and fragrant fish biryani- with flavours of carom and black cumin. Served with crisp fried okra and pomegranate raita. For non-fish eaters a vegan version with vegetables will be available. The meal will end with a decadent tapioca pudding (not to be confused with school puddings!) flavoured with cardamom and pandan and garnished with pistachios.
