Vangi Bhath or rice with aubergines, cashews, tamarind, green chillies and coconut among other ingredients for dinner tonight. It’s a bad photo but it tasted nice. This is the South Indian version. My mum used to make the Maharashtrian version with “kala masala” or black spice mix which was scrummy too.
